Having said that, it’s always recommended to get scuba certified to give yourself the best, most enjoyable diving experience possible. This site is at the farthest point from Marmaris and offers mult-level diving from 0m all the way down to 40m depth. Galleon Cove is situated close to the rocky area opposite the Kadirga lighthouse and therefore offers a new and unique terrain for divers to explore and enjoy.
This site is very popular with photographers due to the vast array of amphorae you’ll find on the rocks here that makes for a great spectacle. What’s more, you’ll also find the remains of a sunken ship to get immersed in.

Also known as Baca Cave, this site is the most popular dive site in Marmaris. It’s easy to see why too! Suitable for both beginners and advanced divers, you’ll find great diving here from a depth of 5m all the way down to 50m.
The cave is brimming with marine life, with the opportunity to spot small shrimp and cardinal fish amongst many other species of colorful tropical fish and vibrant corals. The cave gets its name from the narrow 4m exit and makes for a great diving experience.

Best Time to go Diving in Marmaris
Marmaris is home to the warm, crystal clear waters of the Turkish Riviera and makes for pleasant diving for much of the Spring and Summer months from March up until September.
Marmaris is known to experience storms in the Autumn and Winter months. This makes for much harsher conditions and it’d be wise to avoid diving during this time.
Due to being such a popular holiday resort amongst travelers of all kinds, it might be a good idea to avoid the peak season. Instead, consider visiting during the shoulder months of May or September. You’ll avoid a good amount of the crowds and still enjoy the brilliant conditions!
